Kogi State Polytechnic was established in December 1992 and took off in January 1993 at the Government Science Secondary School, Lokoja, and the Osara Campus.

Our mission is to produce skilled and competent manpower for commerce and industry using standard facilities and efficient personnel for the benefit of humanity.

Our vision is to establish an institution where theory is blended with practice through imparting knowledge, which will culminate in shaping the individual and society.
